Similar to a more expensive, well-known brand in terms of appearance but fastener companies have to prove themselves and their products based on time on the market and user reports over time. (What they look like doesn't accurately tell the story.) They are dimensionally correct and complete. Given the price, I would say worth it to try on a budget build but anything beyond that and I would need to see verifiable positive reports from long term users.

Heard good things about these and will be following arp torque specs and sequence for install. Was a little skeptical at first but they should work fine. Will update once installed

I have not had any real drive time after installing this head stud bolt kit so I am not sure of the durability. I can say that it installed well. The bolts appeared to be made out of quality material. I didn’t face any issues during install. So far this has been a good kit.

Note that 99 to 03 gen 3 LS engines have six longer bolts in the center, compared to the 2004+ and gen 4.Since I have an 01 LQ4 these are the right ones. The main issue I see with no-name brand head studs and bolts is that sometimes they snap right off the bat during installation. While this could be due to poor QC in metalurgy, it can also be because of improper installation by very budget-minded people. So far I looked them over and the design and build quality looks ok. Nothing like a fancy ARP set, but costs a whole LS engine less than those ($50 vs $300)I haven't installed these yet, but I will update with results when I get to putting the new heads on, and again once the engine is running. For this budget of a price, you might give them a shot.
