This is a good light for an awning or inside of a tent when camping/overlanding. There are a bunch of manufacturers/sellers out there that make a very similar (or the same) light as this one, the difference being price, as far as I've seen. This one works the same as the others, the only thing that I've seen different is the switch - while the case is the same, the switch button itself has four holes in it which is something that I have not seen on the others. In any case, it still works well and it's strapped to my camper's awning for light when needed. I think it would also work well in a shower tent. I use a dual 12v outlet to power more than one light, but will be looking for a two or three barrel connector to power off of one outlet.

LOVE THIS! Waterproof, can be ashared anywhere, used 10+ times for hours and hours and still have plants of battery life! Works well in extreme cold, VERY bright, easy to use, great value, just know you must purchase battery separately!

At first glance this looks like a good all weather system. The plastic hooks and Velcro fasteners make it easy to figure out a way to hang or mount in the field. It is very compact when stored in the supplied bag. The switch seems to be the trouble spot for me. Every time I have assembled the cords together the light does not come on. The switch lights up but I have to disconnect the last connection once or twice and fiddle with the switch before the light comes on. I would not call the switch user friendly. It is very hard to regulate how much power / watts you are using. If you are not using something that shows the watts being used like my GoLabs R150 in the pictures you may run out of juice quickly. I am not sure why this short LED strip uses so many watts, maybe it is the type of LED used. The Tech Specs says Max Power: 14Watts, but I got a reading of 20 watts at the maximum light setting. I had a very hard time getting the touch switch to stop at 5 and 10 watts. It would be better if somehow the switch was graduated in 5 watt intervals. At 5 watts my GoLabs would last 38 hours, at 20 it would only last 10 hours. If you live in a remote area this would be a good item to keep in your vehicle for emergency use. I would only take this camping if had at power station that showed the watts being used so as not to use up all my battery just powering this light strip.

I had a homemade set up in my previous ice fishing house. That LED light strip would run for weeks on a 10 amp power battery. This one burned up two 10 amp hour lithium batteries in six hours. I will be returning this. I don’t know if it’s defective or if that’s just the way it is

I like the features, the dimmer, on/off switch is nice. Super Brite on high but beware it runs pretty hot to the touch.Update: I noticed it runs hotter with the the lithium battery than it does with the lead acid
