Full disclosure, I ordered this for a camper we don't have yet, so I have only tested it out once, and cannot speak to its longevity. I brought it along when we went camping with the inlaws to test it out on their 5th wheel, and it worked great.For this test, we stopped their drain, and disconnected the stinky slinky for two days, storing up a good collection of all kinds of wonderful solids and smells. After that, I hooked it up to their sewage discharge, used a bit of extra power cord to get 12V power to the macerator, and let it rip. It handled every bit of effluence in the tank, and was fairly easy to flush as well. The clear section made it simple to tell when flushing was complete, as the water started to run clean.The biggest downside, is the included power cable. I can't think of a camper small enough to allow this short of a cable to make it from the 12V battery at the front, to the sewage discharge that is almost always located behind the wheels. If you plan to use long term, you'll probably need a good quality extension for the power cable.

This portable macerator waste pump has a solid build and well made. All hardware included are also fairly good quality. Everything I needed was in this kit. Pumped out with no issues. Easy to clean and flush if you just stick the intake hose in a bucket of water. Overall very happy with the quality and functionality of this macerated pump!

We recently got the macerator pump and it has already come in handy. We keep our RV on an undeveloped property. So pumping our tank into a portable tank has been very convenient.The pump has a carrying case and is a 12-volt unit. The pump was well packed, I felt it was properly packaged, and there was no damage to any of the things that came with it. It has a long hose for the exit side of the pump. There is also a washout side with a provided hose. There is a clear hose that can attach to the long exit hose so that you can tell when the pump is clean. The pump has plenty of power to pump from our RV to the buddy tank in the back of our truck. The pump plugs into the truck's lighter but also has an adapter so you can use a battery. The power cord is only 7 feet long. I would prefer it to be a bit longer. I would also like to have the option to purchase an adapter to plug directly into 110 current.Overall, we are very happy with the pump.

The closest place to empty out tanks is across the city and only open weekdays during business hours.Not ideal for a non retired RVr. So i figured id give one of these a shot. The idea being that you can dump anywhere a garden hose can reach into (like a sewer clean out or toilet.)My RV is currently semi winterized, so i can test the effectiveness of this system quite yet. But here are some observations. There is the macerator, freshwater hose, waste hose, to hose straps a storage bag, hook-up and electrical wiring.I would have like the wiring to be a slightly heavier gauge. I also would have liked to have the ability to flush the macerator clean while still also being able to flush the tanks but thewater hook ups only allow for the tanks to be flushed and then by that the macerator to be flushed.It is surprisingly heavy, so i plan on building a stand so it doesn’t hang on the waste gate of my RV unsupported.The waste hose, is a small, cheaper garden hose without the male end. It was wrapped so tightly to fit in the box that there are a lot of kinks. I plan on replacing this hose with a high capacity hose of a bright color so everyone knows that it is a waste hose.Something for folks to remember, you should never spin a macerator without fluid going through it. Either flushing the tank or draining the tank, dont let it run dry, that is a quick recipe for burning out the device.Shortly i should be able to get the RV out and test this thing in the field.

Really nice macerator kit. Includes the macerator itself, along with it's own zipper up carrying case. Water connections, extra O-ring, several spare hose washers. Power wire for either hooking directly to a 12v battery, or plugging into vehicle power outlet. 25' fresh water hose for assisting the flow, 25' effluent hose to run effluent to your septic tank, or other sanitary drain. Really nice design, and execution of design. Can be used with a longer effluent hose as well, if it's longer distance to your drain. Overall, really great design!

It did not work. The motor wasn't strong enough. I opened the blackwater, and it just backed up into the pipe until the pipe connection broke. Now I have to fix that, send this back and hopefully find a pump that works
