The wire is heady duty and the insulation is thick. The blades at the end of the wire are attached well and the connection has shrink insulation on it. The cigarette lighter end feels good in the hand and also a bright green indicator light for power.

I actually bought it to power my Starlink Mini dish. I just wanted a good solid 12v plug with a decent gauge cord. The plug feels very solid and has an LED to show power. The cord is plenty thick and about 8ft long. The ends are just like in the product picture and perfect for a Coleman cooler, but I did cut those off to attach it to the rest of my setup (12v to 24v step-up and a 5.5mm x 2.1mm female barrel plug). My Starlink runs great with it.
