I used these to replace the old screws on my LENOX AC compressor unit, which is old and making cringing metal noises. The old ones were #10, I purchased these screws in #12 size, to improve the tightness and secureness. The noise still there but improved 10 decibels less than before.

These were an exact replacement for the screws I ran out of for installing my pegboard into studs. They’re sized exactly as listed and so far appear to be great quality.

These are basically sheet metal screws number 8 and 1-1/4” long so they’re long drilling the correct pilot hole in the material they will be self tapping.
