I was upset that when the propeller arrived it had a noticeable nick/blemish on one of the blades. But I was in a hurry to get on the water and decided to just live with it. The nick created a high-pitched harmonic at around 1000 rpms. I figured I would have to file it out eventually. Yesterday was the day, and before touching the prop at all, I noticed that the powder coat finish was flaking off the inside of the hub. Then later I encountered a lobster buoy in the water and the end of one of the blades broke off. Granted--there was a collision, but it was with a floating, light-weight foam buoy, which should not have caused it to break. Won't be buying this brand again.

Blade blew off while hooked to hose. Wanted to run boat before put in water put in gear and a chunk went flying. Never seen water.

I mean for the money you almost can't go wrong.But the thick paint issues not only effect the fitment, but it also creates a noise, not a big deal if your mechanically inclined . You'll need to sand away the extra paint in the right areas so there's no vibration sound issues.Still worth the 100 bucks. Cannot rate the durability have not had long enough.
