This product is designed for use with 1990-2006 Mercury/Mariner 2-Cyl, 30-40 HP, 3-Cyl, 30-90 HP, 4-Cyl, 100-125 HP outboard carburetors. It replaces the following models: Mercury 8112231, 811223. This product is also interchangeable with Sierra: 18-7211-1, GLM: 40490, Mallory: 9-37303.

Received 2 "sierra" and 1 different supplier's kits. 2 sierras came with rubber carb bowl gaskets (typically paper) and neither aligned correctly to the bowl. I was able to stretch the dimple hole to get the bolt holes to somewhat align but ended up reusing an old bowl gasket for the second. Now I have an air leak where the bottom carb bolts up discovered by spraying some carb cleaner around the gaskets... I swear that gasket seemed unusually thin but i liked the adhesive backing to keep the gasket in place during install so i went with it. do yourself a favor an grab oem gaskets from a reputable supplier. This was on a 2002 75hp mercury elpto.

I recently ordered this a (3) carb kit package. I received (1) kit. Thinking it was a mistake, I returned it and requested a replacement. I just received the second order and again, (1) kit. Way overpriced for (1) carb kit. Shop elsewhere.
