This submersible water heater quickly heats water with its titanium construction and intelligent temperature controller. We used this to heat our bath when our hot water heater was broken for weeks! The cord length is decent, but a longer option would be helpful. A reliable heater with fast performance.

I used this for heating up water in an outside tub to just sit outside a bit. My impromptu spa worked great, got as hot as I wanted and it was easy - I just dropped the heater in and set it.I will also be using this to ease my cleaning and construction jobs as super-cold water is no where near as useful as warm but not hot.

Used this for my my pond in the winter it is about 450 gallons. Kept the whole pond and the temperature I needed for my koi. Really nice feature to have the thermostat so that you can set your desired temperature. Safe and easy to use for my pond overall great results with it. Took about a day to get the pond temp from about freezing to set temperature of 69 degrees.

This is a very well made heater with a tremendous output level.The large controls make is very easily to quickly adjust your fish tanks to the right temperature.

Well made, durable construction. The cabling is thick and solid. The heating element does appear to be titanium, or at least metal. The plug for the heating element lights up when has power.The temperature controller part is also solid and well made, with simple intuitive buttons and readout. The temperature probe is bare metal and seems to read correctly.

So happy with the unit. Everything feels like great value for the money. The cabling is heavy duty and comes with everything you need to keep the water from getting scalding hot. So there is this metal probe you can place in the water and have it automatically shut off after it reaches the perfect temperature for a fish tank or a bath or whatever you use it for. I feel safe using this unit.

This is a really cleanly designed product. I would definitely suggest getting an immersion heater with a temperature controller because these devises are essentially On or Off. Everything was well packaged and the controller was easy to use and already in Fahrenheit degrees. The plug extension, coming from the controller is lighted and all the cords are very heavy duty and well sealed.I don't know if the temperature controller is advertised as being IP waterproof, but it looks like it might be. I originally purchased this as a backup heater for my chicken watering system. Having the temperature controller and temperature sensor is key to making sure that the immersion heater doesn't run all the time or unnecessarily, as I really only need this to maintain the water temperature above freezing.The heating element has a plastic cage around it, which protects anything that that the element would otherwise come in contact with. If heating a small volume of liquid, there is some small amount of additional heating that takes place after the controller turns off, because of the thermal mass of the element itself. This will probably not be noticeable if you're heating more than 1/2 gallon of water or more.If heating a large volume of water, it may take a fairly significant amount of time. This is simply due to limitations of how much power you can pass through the elements and the size of the heater. At around 1300 W, this will push the limits of a standard 15A household circuit, so make sure that you're not running any high draw devices on the same circuit that you're using this heater on, or use a 20A circuit.
