Listen, this is the best set of spindles I have bought in years. Comes as a complete set, WITH bolt hardware. Snapped 1/2 of the attachment bolts on the old spindles when trying to remove them. Kit is a PERFECT fit, with NEW Pulleys! Just make sure as the instructions say to put the washer UNDER the pulley to space it away from the upper spindle bearing. Tractor is like new again!!!

The main thing that I did not like about this product, is that it was made in China. Although I did appreciate the fact that it arrived in two days. I would reommend this to other Amazon members if they have a need. It was a great value for the price.

All the components are very high quality. They spindles don't have grease fittings and they just use sealed bearings, which are pregresed. They seem to last 2-1/2 years. Since I'm mowing 3 acres every week for 4-1/2 months out of the year, and they last 2-1/2 years, I'll say they lasted me 34 acres worth of mowing. I'd say they'd last 220 acres if they could be (and were) greased 2x per mowing season. The factory installed spindles lasted 7 years. But the factory ones were packed with grease. How I upgraded the spindles.I press or pound out the shaft.I pound out or use a blind bearing puller to remove the bearings.I make provisions for two grease fittings. One low, one high.I drill (#3 drill) and tap a 1/4-28 hole (only tapping half way up the taper on the tap).I meticulously clean and dry all the components.I remove one seal from each bearing. I install the unsealed side of the bearings to the inside.I press the bearings into place. Keeping everything very clean, of course. You can pull them together with a threaded rod washers and nuts.I usually use a wood screw and temporarily mount the spindle horizontally.I use a very small precision screwdriver to remove the outer seal from the top bearing.I remove the top grease fitting (as a vent), and pump grease into the other grease fitting until grease just starts emerging from the bearing or the vent hole.I use a powered driver to run the spindle until grease oozes out of the vent AND the bearing. I slowly add grease until this happens. Then I add 5 more pumps of grease and drive the spindle for 3 min.I wipe away all the excess grease. Replace the outer bearing seal. Reinstall the upper grease fitting.Once you install this spindle, you'll want to periodically grease the spindle, so position the spindle so the grease fittings are accessible. When periodically greasing, remove one grease fitting (as a vent) and pump grease into the other. Stop greasing when grease oozes from the vent.Leaving the vent out, run the deck for 1 min (stationary, not mowing). Then turn off the mower and reinstall the grease fitting.

This replacement assembly fit percisely onto the deck of my lawnmower. The casting, machined shaft and bearings are working great. This was a great deal for the parts included.

Product worked very well the assembly of the unit was pretty simple. However additional instructions would have been appreciated.
