Not recommended if you’re looking for a surface to polish. I was planning to polish this piece and clear coat for a bathroom handicap bar installation but will use paint instead. The surface could have been polished nicely except for some little gouges on the surface. It appears that the aluminum stock was dragged across hard metal debris.
