As detailed in the product description, these pegs are larger diameter than other pegs for ¼" pegboard. The extra girth of the steel pegs is very obvious compared to regular ¼" pegs.For day to day tool support on a pegboard, they are way more than adequate. They all have consistent build quality and mount easily into a ¼" pegboard.

These are heavy duty, serving well to install various handsaws etc. on our pegboard. The only issue is the black plastic accessory that adds additional security to keep the hook from popping off the board when you removes tools etc to use. It should fit into the holes on either side of the hook near its base… but it won’t quite reach across. The holes are a standard distance apart, but we can’t get it inserted into both holes, it’s just a smidge short… if it stretched it would reach, but no go. It’s unfortunate because the hook can pop off the board when grabbing a tool.

These hooks are a bit larger in diameter than many on the market and fit tighter in the standard peg-board holes. The rubber tips help protect items hung on the hooks, and the locking clips solve the age-old issue of the hooks coming out of the holes when removing an item from them. Excellent product.
