Installed this new carb. Worked great. Next day, fuel leak. Inspection revealed the fuel was leaking inside the carb, flooding the intake. After clean up, installed a fuel shut off ahead of the carb. Works okay now.

I have a Cub Cadet ZT1 42 zero turn mower that I let sit up for a bit. I changed the fuel filters and cleaned the original carburetor, but could not get the mower running. I took a gamble and purchased this carburetor replacement, and to my surprise it fixed my issues. It was a little tricky to change, but wasn't that hard. I would recommend to anyone looking for a carburetor for a Cub Cadet ZT1 42.

Was cheaper to buy this off brand carb than a rebuild kit for my 2022 Cadet XT1 LT 50 Fab. Installation was simple and the mower now runs much smoother. Overall this was a great deal for the carb and fuel pump. Update: after a couple days I noticed the rider was hard to strart. The choke stop pin on this unit is too long, and gets stuck in the linkage. This causes the choke to stick open, or not open far enough. Kind of a dumb issue to have. Guess I will just use it for parts as it still cheaper than a rebuild kit.

Good Replacement Carburetor So Far - Installed the included fuel pump that was defective did not pump the fuel this could have caused me to return carburetor for a refund thinking the problem was with the new carburetor.
