These are as good as any I have used. I always wash first and see how much fuzz is dropped, if too much I ask for another set or replace with another brand. Most that have issues have the initial shedding clogging up something. I like to have a couple sets as mid way through the season I swap the filter's media with a fresh set. For that alone these beat sand. When you include the backbreaking work of lugging around sand and the filter during the off season these filter balls are a no-brainer. I will never go back to sand.

These filter balls are a great replacement for traditional sand! They’re super lightweight, easy to install, and provide excellent filtration without clumping. My pool water stays crystal clear, and I love that they’re reusable—just a quick rinse, and they’re good to go again. They also require less backwashing, saving water and maintenance time. If you're looking for a hassle-free, efficient, and long-lasting pool filtration solution, these are definitely worth it!

These sand filter balls for sand filter pumps are a whole lot easier to use than than working with sand. It also does a better job in our pump at filtering than using plain sand and with no messiness.

This is our second pool season using these new filter balls and I am impressed with this product. We always used sand it was a such a choir to clean out of the filter every year and get a new bag of heavy sand to install into the filter in spring. These filter balls are super light and so easy to use. I was skeptical that they would filter our 36'x16' pool. They have been working fantastic. No sand in the pool on startup. I will never go back to using sand in our filter only these filter balls.

These feel just like the ones I get at thePool supply store and are just as good if not better. They are exactly what they say they are. I use mine in place of sand for my best way pool sand filter. I like how long they last and they do a good job filtering the slime and scum out of my pool. I always rinse them half way through the season and after I close up the pool to ensure a good clean pool throughout the years. I keep them for 2 seasons then I change them out. It saves me money in the long run and I am very happy with these blue balls! I will definitely be buying these again!
