I've used this a couple of times to assemble some put-it-together-yourself furnature and it's worked really well without breaking or marring the item. it worked great for the metal shelving I put up in the garage and a desk. overall, I'm happy with it, and it'll complement the deadblow I've been using for everything up to this point.

This mallet feels firm, sturdy, and has good handle. It also has good weight, not too light. As for design, the head is attached to the handle and it does feel that it is tightly attached. However, I see there is a staple at the bottom of the head. I am not sure if that staple is to hold the head to the handle. Hopeful, this staple it not a critical piece that holds them - time will tell. Other than that, this is a good mallet for home uses and its price is acceptable.

I'm in constant need of a mallet. Be it to hammer in stakes for our inflatable decorations, pound weights back into place on my bench, slam stakes into the ground for when we go camping, or smash ice off of the deck, this little mallet is invaluable. It's light enough to carry around easily and put away, but still effective enough to pack a punch. Worth every penny.

This is a pretty basic rubber mallet, good for a wide range of tasks. It's well made; the handle is subtly but nicely shaped to stay in the hand, and the head is firmly attached. I would caution users, as I needed to caution my wife, that even though this is a rubber mallet it's still plenty hard enough to dent or damage a lot of items. A useful tool for many tasks, just check before hitting a delicate surface with it.

This is a pretty decent mallet. Compared to the one it’s replacing, which I got from a big name store, the mallet material is as solid as the old one, although the handle is a bit shorter and smaller in diameter. However, the latter features do not affect its function.Regarding price, this is lower than what I paid for the one at the store, so that’s a plus.As far as durability, time will tell. As you can see from the picture my original mallet has taken quite the beating but has held just fine, so I’d expect this to go down the same road; otherwise, I will be back to update this review.

This is the identical hammer professional upholsterers use when working on upholstered pieces they first staple a cloth over both sides of the hitting edge to prevent articles from receiving marring and then they use it to attach metal and or cardboard tack strips, closing down "ply-grip" metal gripping to replace hand sewing, hand sewing is the better option, and to remove tacks and staples from upholstered furniture it can also be used in some carpet use, and great for children in learning to use real tools, I recommend letting young children use and play with real tools that have little chance of doing injury. Highly Recommend.

At a little bit over one pound of weight, It is easy to use. It provides enough force to deal with those simple jobs that need a little "whack" to get done.I went around the edge of the yard setting the snow markers by the street, in some places the ground was hard and use the mallet to drive a plastic stake first. I gave it a good test and had no problems, it did its job and there were no dents or any damage to it.
