Unfortunately this wire has some strange plastic coating over the whole thing. If you try to seperate the wires, you get these awful plastic bits stuck everywhere that make can make it quite difficult to insert into connectors.There doesn't appear to be a good way to clean them up either. If you are going to crimp it into an insulation displacement connector, you're probably fine. If you were going to use Dupont style connectors, I would suggest finding a different ribbon cable.

There is a clear lamination holding the individual cables together, which makes it very difficult to separate them. You will have to do a lot of cleanup afterwards. Also, the wire gauge seems to be very small, but probably adequate for low current signals especially over short distances. My intention was to use them with "Dupont" style 2.54mm pitch housings (same as the Harwin ones on DigiKey), but I will instead use the RGBZONE 40-pin cables on Amazon which don't have this lamination, and are heavier in gauge.
