I put hot and cold drinks on this. No damage or rings. I’ve spilled water and no damage. Sturdy little tray.

I have 4 of these now, they match my new home perfectly, but they damage very quickly. We have started adding coasters and other cloth protection so that the tray itself doesn't scratch. They also smell very bad when they arrive and have to air out for a few days before they can be used. But they're gorgeous and not expensive!

Beautiful display tray for display/decor. Not actually functional as a tray for carrying. Bottom outside corner is chipping apart which for the price, it should not be doing.
