They were packed in a thin box which was too shallow for the brushes, so it actually compressed the wire cup. I'll need to repackage these or I'll end up with something less than fully round in time. What I noticed with these are they have some very fine wire in them. This is further indication that this is really intended for rotary tools in addition to the shank diameter, and not for a die grinder or drill. I think these are most appropriate for fine or delicate work, or for the hobbyist. They are certainly comparable or better to what you'd get in a rotary tool accessory kit, and with that in mind, I think they're pretty good.

These wire brushes fit great in my Dremel. They only have a 1/8" shank, so they will not fit in a drill. These are not for heavy duty projects. They come in a pack of 16 which is great for the price! For the name brand, you'd pay $8 something just for a 1 or 2 pack wire brush. So this is a steal! I definitely recommend these!
