Love the Large volume and big handle. I use it to cool boiled water, it withstands the heat pretty well. The lid has a rubber ring but it does not stop the impact between the lid and the body. I worry that the impact from the metal lid will affect the strength of the glass body. However, if close with care, the impact can be greatly reduced.
