I ordered this for a lil project that was gonna be a mounting face plate for electronic controls for the control panel on another project. But it was so scratched and rough and wrapped when I received it I tossed it and went to the metal yard and purchased a half sheet and cut and milled my on ...to much trouble to mess with sending back

A nice piece of metal. I fabricated a new grab handle for my washing machine. The plastic replacement was $57. So, cheaper in aluminum.The Bernzomatic rods worked well! The other rods (in a 50 pack) would not melt, unless put directly in the flame. Maybe they would work with MAP gas.
