  • 9mm Thick Base: The wider 9mm base evenly distributes stress across the freehub, preventing damage under heavy loads. These aluminum single-speed cogs feature extra-tall teeth for reliable chain retention, even with chain tensioners.
  • Premium Single Speed Cog: Designed with a unique tooth shape, narrow-wide profile, and perfect roundness, these sprockets are built to last longer than other aluminum counterparts.
  • One-Piece 7075 High-Quality Aluminum Alloy: Unlike most split designs on the market, our one-piece flywheel offers superior strength and lighter weight, weighing only 66g.
  • Freehub and Chain Compatibility: Compatible with Shimano Hyperglide style freehub body splines (multi-speed or single-speed). Not compatible with Shimano Microspline or SRAM XD freehub bodies. Works with all chains from 7 to 12 speeds.
  • Versatile Spacers Included: The set includes 2pcs 5mm spacers, 1pcs 7mm spacer, and 1pcs 12mm spacer, providing flexibility for different setups.

It fit well onto the hub and looks cool. I bought this in conjunction with the chain tensioner and have issues with the chain jumping under heavy pedaling. It seems to decrease with increased chain tension, but haven’t found a position where it fully prevents it.

This fit almost perfect on my Shimano HG hub, However the spacers included do not have a combination allowing a perfect fit. Thankfully i have spare spacers and was able to make it work, but keep this in mind!

This would have been awesome if it would have had the spacers listed in the picture of 4.5, 4.5, 6.5 and 12. The ones included with my black set are 5,5,7 and 12. The cog is 9, so there are no combos that will make 35mm or a little over.I can either do 38 or 33. I will have to make up a 2mm washer or turn one of the 5mm spacers down to 2mm. Not an easy task for the majority of folks out there. Not sure how others have installed this, perhaps they have longer hubs or got the smaller spacers as in the pictures. You technically could install this, but the nut would only have 1/2 a turn of thread engagement. If there was a 2mm spacer also supplied I would have given this product 5 stars.

the before and after photos does not do it justice. I constantly notice fellow commuters looking down at my rear sprocket. its attention grabbing in a good way especially on such an old cheap single speed steed that I use all year round here in the north east. Its a nice feeling knowing that I still care about my world saving health inducing mode of transportation while my car rots in the driveway. a small upgrade price to pay especially since the anodized finish should last so much longer than the cheap steel replacement sprocket that lasted only 1 salt infested winter.

Just throw this on in place of a cassette and you're 90% of the way to a single-speed conversion. I guess you could be done at that if you wanted to be. The wider cog engagement area is appreciated. We'll see if this holds up better or worse than pulling a steel cog from a cassette. The tooth profile reminds me of my 1X SRAM chainring, but the two profiles are a bit more abrupt/pronounced.

You can definitely tell that this single speed gear is machined with a high level of craftsmanship, and it seems to be made of high quality aluminum alloy from what I can see and feel. The appearance is outstanding, I almost wish it were on display in a store, but I'm still happy that it's on my bike and gives me a higher level of performance. This single speed gear was very easy to install, but I'm sure that's not unique to this gear, they all seem fairly straightforward. The fit is perfect, I had no issues installing this gear on my mountain bike that had an 8 speed cassette, but just in case you have concerns, this gear fit my HG Shimano hub, I didn't have a SRAM XD driver or Shimano Mircospline hub to use this on, but it's very obvious that this gear would not fit those other hubs.Overall, I would highly recommend this gear to anyone looking to try out a single speed option on their mountain bike.

I love modding and rebuilding bikes, one of the ones I haven't built yet was a fixie/Klunker. I saw this and decided I needed it for the next build. it's sat on the shelf for a bit, but I finally found the donor. A nice Blue Specialized Rockhopper. I've removed the rear cassette and this item fits on perfectly. Once I get my bottom bracket in I can get my cranks on and get it lined up correctly and bolt everything down. I have absolutely zero doubts about this item, it's beautifully done, the fit and finish is great.I can't wait until I can get everything I need to finish this build so I can update with pictures!

This is not compatible with all 12 speed chains as stated. Will not work with a flattop sram chain. I bought it hoping it would work, but your chain will skip. Seems to be well made otherwise, but won’t work for a flat top chain.
