These are replacing the originals on my 89 K1500. I panicked when trying to install these new ones. They didn't "snap" when pushing them onto the splined drivers, or whatever we call them. Don't panic, push them on, then flip them outward, like they are pointing out over the hood. Then reach around and push the retention clip on the back bottom of the arm housing. It will pop right in to retain the new arm on the spline. I thought I had gotten the wrong part at first, since they will not touch the windshield until you pop the retainer in.

Spring seems way too weak on the passenger side and flutters around when you're driving. Waiting for it to fly off.

The paint on these isn’t all that great also after installing I did double check to make sure they were locked in and sitting in place all the way but for some reason at high speed they bounce around on windshield
