For temporary use it wouldn't last long if you hoping for that. But it's good to get your water running for now until you have enough money to purchase a good one.

It seems to function quite decently. I wish's it had more pressure though. I know you can turn it up but past experiences say not to. To be fair in the summer I have it sitting outside in the weather and remove it in the winter. I have no complaints. It's lifting the water about 40 feet and pushing it 100 feet.

This pump is not a sprinkler pump and is more like a .5 Hp pump. Housing for switch was cracked when it arrived, still hooked it up and it barely moves water. No adjustment on the pressure switch that will get this pump anywhere near 1.6hp. Do not recommend.
