Had to drill out holes to be able to use.Don't think I would recommend.May find one you don't have to modify.

I knew there were higher quality versions of this same thing, but it's a simple ebought piece I figured it would be hard to mess up. I used this on a zongshen 250cc OHC Honda crf230 clone engine. I had to put the bolt adjustment bolt down to clear the starter and grind the bottom ear thinner, but I'm okay with that. Might not be like that for all applications

It says it fits a Yamaha moto 4 but it does not. I’m gonna have to drill it to make it fit

The screw holes did not match up with my 1987 yamaha moto 4 225. I had to drill out the holes so there was just enough slack for the screws to match up with the existing holes. Otherwise it works great now.

I was uneazy replacing the OME auto tensioner with an after market (Honda Knows Best). It works beutifuly. I still have know idea how to set the tension, I used the old method of snug then back off a 1/2 turn. make sure u install and adjust when the engin is cold.
