About this item

  • SPOT WATERING PRECISION. 2 Gallon Per Hour Netafim Woodpecker Junior drip irrigation emitters ensure every plant on your drip irrigation system receives the same amount of water and fertilizer regardless of location, for uniform, high-quality growth on any topography. Ideal for greenhouse, nursery, hydroponic, farm and other commercial irrigation systems or residential home gardens and landscape applications.
  • INDUSTRY'S #1 DRIP EMITTER. Designed with the highest level of technology, these self-cleaning 2 gph emitters have both internal check valves and anti-drainback valves and feature the widest flow path for accurate, dependable water delivery that's made them the industry standard for years. Measuring 1 inch x 0.75 inch, they feature a 1/8" black barb and 1/4" color barb, allowing them to be used with different size tubing. Use our illustration (see photo) for how to install based on tubing size.
  • PRESSURE COMPENSATING. The patented pressure compensating dripper continuously adjusts to varying water pressure, ensuring a constant flow rate under a wide pressure range from 10 to 45 PSI. No more under or over watering at the beginning and ends of the drip system line or in low areas of the system.
  • CLOG RESISTANT. Continuous self-flushing system, even while irrigating, provides these 2 gph spot emitters with superior resistance to clogging. Irrigation dripper nozzle made from high-quality polyethylene parts that last season after season for long life.
  • TUBE PUNCH & GOOF PLUGS INCLUDED. Our 2 GPH emitter drip irrigation kit contains (35 Pack) 2 GPH Netafim emitters PLUS drip tubing hole punch and rack of 10 dual sided goof plug fittings for easy and fast installation. These agriculture-grade 2gph drippers easily punch into any 1/2 or 5/8 inch drip irrigation tubing from Rainbird, Dig, Orbit, Toro or other brands using the included hole punch tool, or push firmly onto the end of 1/4" drip tubing.

Kit Contents:

NETAFIM DRIP TECHNOLOGY OFFERS A WORLD OF BENEFITS

Netafim is the global leader in smart drip and micro-irrigation solutions since introducing the world's first drip irrigation system solutions in 1965. Netafim drippers slowly emit specified amounts of water and nutrients, at low pressure, directly to the plant’s root zone. This continual delivery of water and nutrients increases the grower’s ability to manage crop production, resulting in earlier, more profitable harvests, as well as enhanced consistency in yields from year to year. Energy, water and fertilizer costs are minimized to further improve profitability. With minimal loss of water to runoff and evaporation – as well as uniform application to plants, drip irrigation offers a world of benefits.

Better crop quality, quantity and uniformity using less resources

Promote green, healthy plant growth evenly and precisely thoughout your planting area

Direct exactly the right amount of water, exactly where you want it automatically

Excellent performance. I think this is the company that invented drip irrigation. These don't clog.

These seem to clog much less than the rain brand.

So I know some reviews were saying "They don't work...", but I have not had trouble with flow. Installed one for a test on a regulated 30psi line and I measured the flow rate as being bang-on 1.98 Gal/Hr. I seriously question if people are installing these backwards, since they do have a check valve in them and reversing the flow direction is likely no bueno. However, I do have a gripe with these and my gripe is simple: **They don't have 1/4" barbs on both sides!!!** (Like every other drip emitter I've ever seen...)On the colored side the barb is a standard 1/4" drip line barb, but the black barb on these is a 1/8" hose barb. WTF!? Who does that??? No where in the product description was that stated and even going back and searching for it now that I know, the only indication I can find is a tiny little arrow in one of the pics deep in the gallery. This fact should be "front and center" info. As such these essentially don't work for what I needed...To the parts bin with you!

I have not tested all of the 35 that came in the pack, but the first five I tested are functionally equivalent to goof plugs. No water flows out of these, I can't event get air to pass through using my mouth like I can on any other netafim nozzle I've used. I contacted the seller about a week ago asking what the deal is and they never responded. Pure garbage.

emitters are what they are, the inclusion of the punch tool and end caps were a great plus for the price.

Used for drip system. Haven’t had time to install all of them.

If you're looking for a reliable dripper that won't clog, this is it. I use them to water my trees. Be aware they have a built-in check valve that keeps them from operating at pressures under 10psi. This is what helps guarantee each plant receives the exact same amount of water, even on uneven terrain. If a Netafim dripper isn't emitting, like a previous review noted, it's likely a sign of pressure loss in that area of the irrigation system which activated the check valve… can happen if you run a really long line or load too many emitters along one line. A great feature most drippers don’t have. This is why the pros use Netafim.

I have only had them installed for about six weeks and all is well so far. Only time will tell. I like the color coded gpm.
