This was for my husband. He stated that this was super easy to install and it didn't take much time at all. Make sure to drain your gas tank, that makes it easier on you. We used a syphon that worked like a charm. If you want that info, check my reviews on which one we got!It makes the bike so much sleeker and the wires can be hidden out of view with this design. Definitely recommended.

One Pice broke while trying to tighten to the tank. I feel like the pice was welded badOr however it was very weak and broke........

Didn’t have any problems with this product. Seems to be well built and a lot less than other brands. The installation required a metric hex socket, which was slightly odd because I’ve noticed the Harley’s to use sae standard bolts. Other than the different sizing of the installation bolts everything was perfect. I would buy this again and would recommend to anyone that wants to relocate their coil/ignition and tuck the wires underneath the tank. It’s a bunch of work but it will look great.Thank you amazon five stars [ * * * * *]

Easy to install... as it should be. The weldings are sloppy but they are covered by the black paint so I was willing to overlook it. One of the bolts is touching the spine of the bike and scratching it. Need to adjust to avoid further scratches with the engine vibrations. Hopefully it doesn’t loosen the tank. Will post an update if anything negative happens. Otherwise for the price so far it’s an acceptable piece of hardware.

Perfect! Easy install - I recommend removing your seat and loosening your rear tank bolt so it pivots up easier - may have to manipulate the fuel line a little to free the tank and I recommend having someone help hold the tank or sliding a block of wood or a pillow or something between the tank and the frame if you can’t find a helper - all in all I did this install by myself in less than 20min - great quality - great engineering - I highly recommend this product for your sportster if you want a lifted tank - stock ‘17 iron 883 bars will clear

Installed on a 2019 iron 883, while tightening the bolt one side snapped. Even if it didn't it would rub against the frame anyway. There is no way to snug the nuts on the tank. Do not buy.

Gave the bike a great look, had zero issues with installation. Rear tank brackets do not exist, you must take out the rear tank bolt when lifting the tank and leave everything loose until you have all the components mounted. The tank is not supposed to lift level it is supposed to lift at an angle.

Love the look of the tank lift. It is stupid easy and simple to do. I installed it on my sporty and rode from Houston to ft worth (about 4 hr ride). About 2/3rds of the way there I was fueling up and notice the tank lift broke at the weld. I got to my destination, pulled the lift off and TIG welded it back up, re installed it and all was good. Then while on a short ride about a he long the other side broke. So again I took it off, repaired it and reinstalled it ... personally I would avoid this lift if I could do it again ... get one that is just a flat bar without any opportunity for crappy welds to fail on you.

Bolt started to rust after first rain. Overall fitment is not good though can be installed with assembling first then tightening everything together.
