I start every day with a doppio and usually have several cortos throughout the day. I have been using the same set of plain cream-colored porcelain demitasse cups for years. The cups have character; the glaze is crazed. Some people would see that as a reason to toss the cups but there's nothing wrong with them. They are just old and well used. Kinda like me.Anyway, I ordered this new set because some people don't share my sense of aesthetics. I do have another set of demitasse cups, but that set is for extra special occasions. It is hand-painted 50-year-old Delft from the Netherlands. Extremely delicate. Must be handwashed. Cannot be put in the dishwasher.This set will fill a need for a set that is decorative and fresh that doesn't require special care. The amount of espresso it can hold will be sufficient for most of my guests. There's not a one who walks around wired from caffeine every day like me.

The espresso cups are small and have a stoneware appearance. These mugs are perfect for an espresso, a shot of coffee, or a latte and are the perfect size for after-dinner coffee. The mini ceramic espresso cups and saucers are dishwasher and microwave-safe. After one minute in the microwave, the cup and the liquid were very hot, but the handle was not. The cup could be removed from the microwave without an oven mitt. Classic black and white stoneware design, the Francois et Mini 2oz Espresso Cups are attractive, and appealing and will complement every cupboard. Perfect for espresso drinkers, and a practical, attractive, and ideal gift for any bridal or wedding shower, housewarming, new apartment, or starter home.

This is a review for Francois et Mimi 2 Ounce Espresso Cups with Saucers, Mini Ceramic Espresso Cups Set of 6.These expresso coffee cups are exactly the size I need for my afternoon Espresso Shot! These are unique and sturdy enough to act as my "everyday" Espresso cups. They are the typical size used in Italy for a quick shot of Espresso. They are not for 'Latte' or "cappuccino". I've put them in the dishwasher and the microwave, and they came through just fine. Sometimes I'll make a pot of coffee at breakfast and have a shot left over for after lunch. I 'll pour it into one of these cute little Francois et Mimi cups and reheat it after lunch at 10 seconds on high. Perfect! The cup is not hot but the coffee is! This was a great price for 6 very cute, very modern, 2 oz cups.

Very nice espresso cups, beautiful quality and the color matches my decor perfectly. Make sure to inspect them properly, mine came chipped which is an issue with our delivery driver not taking proper care and not using packing bubbles.
