It plays a quirky song when you charge a battery, but other than that, it works great in my Makita tools.

Well, I decided to go do a little bit of back Roading checking out the river for some fishing spot and I had my Makita tool bag in the backseat ran into a trail where I couldn’t get around the tree didn’t have a chainsaw or an axe so I ran my little Makita cordless saw with one of these new batteries, all around 8 inch round tree and then pushed it over with my bush bar The battery had a lot of power. The blade was spinning if you’re not careful, you could burn out your saw.

Worked for a while. Very under used. I would use one battery and leave the other on the charger. I left a battery on the charger and found out that I am very lucky that my house didn't burn down. Went to use my tools and the battery had melted to the charger. I could not get it off at first. I had to pry it off with a prybar! Now the charger and batteries are useless. Very little use, less than 1 year ownership. They say a limited 12 month warranty, but they don't respond. This is REAL feedback.

The charger is just fine. Charges fast and completely.These new 5000mAh batteries last and last!I usually keep 2 chargers going at work because we put the cordless Makita tools through their paces, all day.These batteries work hard all day before needing a charge!

I like the price, but the pieces are cheap and:-The charger do not have an internal fan to cool batteries like an original Makita.-The 5000mAh batteries are no really 5000mAh, i believe they are 3500 or maybe 4000mAh.

I was skeptical at first since these aren’t Makita brand and are a third party but they work great and the charge lasts a long time. I use them mostly for my Makita circular saw and they charge quickly and I can use it all day without them dying. Amazing deal for the price.
