Buyer Beware. These C Clamps are described as 4 inch, but they are only 3 1/2 inch. Would not open enough for a use requiring only 3 5/8 inch opening. Returned the clamps as unusable. False advertising in my opinion.

I needed a strong clamp to join two twin beds together. These clamps were overkill for my project. Jeeps! what it must have cost to ship them if I didn't have Prime. If they were shipped based on weight it would be more expensive than their original price. Solid and stronger than I imagined obviously. Not for me this time, yet good to know that if needed something like this is available. ~

These clamps are strong enough for woodworking and welding, that is what I use them for, wish they has rotating ends so wood doesn't get damaged but I use a small pad and it works fine, price is great
