Use a dremel tool to carefully cut open your old remote to remove cut key and circuit board, works great same as new, no program or key cutting required if you have your remote with cut key. Works great!

The product does not perfectly align with the buttons on my 4 button fob - so the locking button does not work all the time. Ordering complete replacement with electronics to avoid the issue going forward

The original house is zigzag as you can see the picture. The new one does not which is laid down flat. It does not fit the car.

The housing itself is a great replacement for the crappy GM ones, where the rubber buttons turn to sticky goo. However, on my vehicle at least, the case did not match the internals of the OEM one. The hitch comes with the fold out key. The new fob comes with an uncut insert, that you are supposed to swap out with your cut key, but the detents on the new housing don't match up with the old key. And the old buttons can't be used with the new housing. So in the end, the only way I could make this work was to get a small punch, tap out the roll pin in each key assembly to separate the key from the pivot point, and swap them out. Then do some filing so it would fit right. Works fine now that it's all said and done, but be prepared to put some time in. Glad they were cheap.
