I love these buggy bands for their effective mosquito repellence. But these are actually cute and nice to wear! No one will guess these aren't fashion bracelets. Beautiful design that does not take away from the bands' effectiveness.

These bands are very neutral looking and have a strong citronella fragrance. They are covered with what appears to be a tightly woven or knitted fabric and have threaded copper/rose-gold metallic end caps that are screwed onto each end of the bracelet. The bracelet is flexible. I’ve included a photo of it on my somewhat small wrist, but it will also fit an ankle or a man’s larger wrist. The bracelets look appropriate for either a man or a woman. The package shipped with two bands and 10 citronella refill packages. Each citronella refill package contains two of the refill sticks required to refresh a bracelet. The end caps of the bracelet are removable for replacing the fragrance sticks. The bracelets came with airtight Ziploc type pouches to prevent the citronella from evaporating when in storage.I ordered these for my husband and I to wear on the patio or when trail riding. The instructions state the bands can be worn either on the wrist or ankle. It is not yet mosquito season here, but I am excited to try something instead of “Off” spray to keep mosquitoes at bay. Once mosquito season arrives, if the bands do not perform as expected, I will update my rating and review.

We have a family member who is a mosquito magnet. This BuggyBands wristband kit includes 2 wristbands and 10 packets of two citronella capsules. Each band requires two capsules. The bands are bendable and easily adjustable to any wrist size. We tried using just one of the wristbands to test effectiveness. And, yes, the arm with the wristband remained mosquito bite free while the other arm was bitten. So, I think this works well. I do wish only one band was required at a time though.

I swear by BuggyBands! I've used their disposable ones for years and they are truly magical at repelling mosquitos. When I saw these new ones I got really excited - they're actually pretty! I would wear them as bracelets. The one thing I noticed on unpacking is the smell, it's definitely more potent than on the disposables. So if you're sensitive to smell just be warned, you will notice it on these. But it's good, the more potent the smell the more powerful the protection - the mosquitos notice it too! I have a house in the wetlands, and I go camping often, so I spend a lot of time around mosquitos. I can tell you, these bands work.
