My parents are older now and since I live very close I do much of the cooking for them. Always trying to keep dishes hot, then they have to serve the food onto places. I wanted a convenient way to prepare individual plates, and keep them warm, to make things easier for them.After exhaustive online research through all the options I settled on this set. It is perfect. The individual containers are tall enough to allow for nice size portions on each plate and the lids lock on tightly. Both containers fit in the insulated carrier which handles well with the attached handles.I'm very satisfied with the quality and design of this product. Highly recommend it as the best solution if you have the same needs.

This is a very handy product, not only for transporting pies, but to use it picnics or pools or beaches too for other foods. I gave this is a gift to my stepdaughter who loves it. You can use one of the containers for ice to keep other containers cool there’s enough room in the insulated bag for the two included pie cases and more items on top of it like drinks or sandwiches

This is quite nice have even gotten a third pie carrier in or can have 2 with room for a hot or cold pack like micropore on top and bottom. Would not hesitate to buy again or recommend. That being said I would never trust the top handles of the inside cases. No because they have failed but don’t want to take the chance they might. Would use to lift out of outside bag but not to carry across the room or place to place. They look weak and locking on case may not be as tight as it could be so that is 2 potential sites for problems. I would always keep a hand underneath to be safe.they will hold an oversized pie plate up to 20.5” or nice quiche dish!

I used it today. Let the holiday parties begin. Took 2 pies to my office potluck for Thanksgiving today. Worked just like I hoped it. Arrived totally intact and everyone enjoyed my pies. Highly recommend. I will also use the bag for other casserole dishes. Good value for the price.

The 12” is perfect for my 9.5” Pyrex glass pie dish and my 9.5” Crate & Barrel ceramic pie dish. There’s plenty of room for a high pie with the insert removed. This will work beautifully to transport cupcakes too. I’m pleased that I can also stack them. The carrier is a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

Stitching is adequate, containers reasonably well-made. If I pull on the handles of the plastic pie containers with a glass dish pie inside, the lid pops off and the base drops. The plastic pie holders need to be carried from below when not zipped into the bag. If the bag is used for a single pie, it can slosh about so it's best to add the empty pie container for balance. Fits all my pie plate sizes!I haven't checked if the lids suffice with merengue peaks yet--a real test! Looks excellent for layering cookies or bars.Recommendation for improvement: a non-slip liner in the bottom of each plastic pie holder for pies that are not max size. Also, a different thermal liner that doesn't reek like it wants to give us cancer. I've had it open and airing out for over 2 weeks after running it through my washer and letting it air dry. Still pungent.
