Have a real problem with the grading around my townhouse. These fit perfectly, and were easy to attach. They have really helped with the water around the house. Very durable, and flexible. They work great!

This is pretty good for a diverter for your gutter downspout. It does expand easily and allows for bends and turns. It comes with the fitting to go over the end of your downspout. I was hoping for something more durable. This will definitely work and for average use buried under the ground it will do exactly what it is supposed to do. If you are using it above the ground, I can see a weed eater or other piece of equipment putting a hole in this. Mine is going under the ground so hopefully it will last a long time.

I was able to bring out my gutter a few feet from my house and it fit my system without too much trouble.

I needed to divert the gutter downspout in 2 places around my house. Those 2 extension came in handy. One was to prevent the rain to pour directly over the concrete foundation. The other one was to extend the flow passed the addition of a staircase to my deck.In both cases the installation was relatively easy. One issue (minor for me since I used both separately) is the missing connector piece to create a double length extension.Overall, I am happy with this product.

I do like that these are made of a durable plastic that is not thin and collapses easily. These downspouts are mode of a thicker, more sturdy material and can expand to a decent length. This is what I needed to get the water further from the side of the building. Like others have noted I did not see an adapter in the box, but the length was enough for what I needed. The asking price for these downspouts is higher than some of its competitors and I am not sure what feature could justify the higher asking price than some of the others. They do work and seem to be well made though.

Out of the box, there are 2 collapsed plastic tubes, ~21 inches long. The larger adapters for 3x4" downspouts are already attached, and the smaller adapters for 2x3" downspouts are loose in the box. Contrary to the experience of a different reviewer, the large adapter can be removed by unscrewing it from the tube, but it's a left hand thread so turn it clockwise to remove it. Likewise, use a counterclockwise movement to attach the smaller adapter if that is what you need. It's a little tricky to get the adapter thread aligned so it will not cross thread, but certainly doable once you get used to the idea of righty loosey-lefty tighty (hurts to say that). A pack of sheet metal screws to secure everything is also included. The tubes extend to almost 60 inches (5 feet) each and are quite flexible.I docked a star due to the inaccurate description that includes a "tube adapter" that would be used to splice the 2 tubes together for maximal length- it's mentioned in the video and on a couple of the Amazon pictures. The tube adapter is also mentioned in the Instruction Manual that is packed in the product box, but (curiously) not in the version on Amazon (the 4th picture on the Amazon page). The tube adapter is not included in the material that I received. If you need to configure a rain barrel feed or divert a downspout in a particular direction, this product will do the job.

The headline says it all.I needed only the small adapters, one on each end. But the larger adapters came attached to both of the tubes. So, the only way I can use this is to cut off the larger adapter from one tube with a knife or saw because it absolutely will not screw off.Frustrating.

The arrangement of my rain gutter downspouts isn't the same with one side of the house higher than the other, so this customizable, flexible replacement is perfect for my needs. I have the smaller 2x3" downspout pipes and the adapter fit them tightly even before adding the anchoring screws included in the kit. The adapters have a nice depth to them and they screw/thread onto the flexible ABS hose for a secure fit. I used my garden hose to simulate a downpour and the extension performed admirably without any leaking or trouble with torrential water levels. The black ABS plastic is thicker than I expected on the hose which means it should hold up quite well over the long haul in terms of exposure to the elements. I'm very pleased with how easy it was to assemble and install them, the self-tapping screws provided are all you need to secure things in place to redirect your gutter flows to where you want them.
