Though I do have a underground sprinkler system, there are areas in my yard with drought resistant plants that really need water during summer dry spells, but aren't in the sprinkler system's area. I've been using an impact sprinkler, but I find them difficult to set up for a specific area. Plus, after you set them just so, sometimes the action of the impact sprinkler moves them around.This gear driven sprinkler has none of those issues, plus, it doesn't make the noise of the impact sprinkler. It's very simple to set up the length and width and type of spray. I tried it in my raised bed area and it's perfect--very easy to adjust to cover any area, though I will most likely use the full spray. I also have a countdown timer that I can use with it so I can dial in 30 minutes and forget it.I really like this sprinkler--it does what the seller says it will do. I had no leaking issues when installing it, and I didn't use the plumber's tape--just the washer--so that's a good sign. Obviously I'm unable to comment on its service life, but it does have a 1 year warranty with the option of 5 years. I've found that if I bring hoses and nozzles and timers inside during winter they tend to last quite a while. If there's a significant failure I will update.Love this little sprinkler, recommend.

Lots of plastic, but working well so far. Ton of adjustments making it a bit unintuitive to use at first, but playing with it for 5 minutes you'll figure it out.It works flawlessly, but my main concern is the use of a lot of plastic and the constant UV exposure.Will it be durable and last multiple years? I Don't know yet.The ground spike is really well designed and keeps the sprinkler in place even it you tug on the hose a bit.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sprinkler. I thought it seemed too cheap ($40 CAD) to be a decent product, but I appear to have been wrong. It feels solid in your hands and well made. My husband particularly likes the length of the stake that goes into the ground. It can take the pressure of being pushed into the ground without bending, and it is long enough to not fall over when the ground gets soft from watering. There are different watering settings to change the distance and width of the water distribution, which is a nice feature. It will certainly make watering the lawn and garden much easier this summer!

Built like a brick and made to last. This durable fixed spike sprinkler is made of high-quality ABS plastic with a metal spike. Once the spike is inserted into the soil it remains firmly in place while the plastic head can be adjusted in different spray patterns. It can cover areas up to 50 feet in diameter and can also be adjusted to almost 360 degrees, allowing you to cover specific or wide areas of your lawn and flower beds.The head has a series of rings. The top ring controls the distance of the spray, the middle ring selects the spray pattern, and the bottom rings control the width of the spray.It works similarly to the impact sprinklers but without the clicking noise and can be set to spray in 5 different patterns - flat, jet, vertical, full and cone.I like that you can use the flow-through outlet to connect two or more of these sprinklers if you have a really large lawn. The RESTMO Lawn Sprinkler is a quality product that should last through the years.

The RESTMO lawn sprinkler has a sturdy metal (zinc alloy) spike. There’s a plastic tip protector on the pointy end, but be careful of the edges on that spike as they were sharp in some places. It has five modes of spray patterns and there are three places to rotate on the plastic sprinkler head to adjust for distance, spray patterns and spray width. The five modes are vertical, jet, flat, cone and full. The product description shows you great pictures of what that looks like. You can add other sprinklers with the flow through outlet. (If your water pressure allows). It’s a well built sprinkler for lawn and garden use. This sprinkler has a one year warranty and there is a QR code to extend that to five years.

The problem with most stake-based sprinkler setups is that the actual stakes are often made of hard plastic or a thin metal, resulting in a very flimsy and often frustrating installation process. But that is not the case here...This unit feels very solid in your hands from the moment you unpackage it, and the stake design is not only quite thick, but the upper portion has two protruding handles that make installing it into the ground much less of a chore -- and you likely won't need to adjust it every other week because the length of the stake itself is well above the standard size of most similar products.The three-tier customization options are also a welcomed addition, allowing you to adjust the distance and width of the spray as well the discharge pattern of the water, which means you can tweak things in real-time until it is perfectly adjusted to your lawn's needs. Manipulating the individual dials can be a little stiff at first, so I would recommend doing a few continuous rotations of each one before attaching your hose... just to make it less finicky to deal with once the water is on.But for forty bucks -- and a discount to boot -- this sprinkler unit feels like a worthy investment that should help keep your lawn looking healthy for many summers to come. Recommended.

This sprinkler operates very smoothly and there is a lot that can be adjusted on it. It all works great except one thing. The top cap rotates to 1 of 3 positions to adjust the length of the stream. It uses plastic pins that stick down into the stream to adjust it. The first position has no pin for full distance, the next has a short pin and the 3rd position has a longer pin for the shortest distance. The problem is the detent for these has enough slop that the pin may or may not actually interrupt the stream. You have to carefully position it in the center of the stream and then not bump it. It shouldn't be like that but the sprinkler is still workable if you are paying attention and of course if you are always using it at full distance it won't be an issue at all.

Unable to use this yet, but I see no reason it shouldn't function properly. It's a solid weight with a metal stake that I prefer over the plastic ones. Seems to rotate well. We go through sprinklers and hoses at our house because of the strong southern sun, but hopefully this will last a good while.

This is a top end sprinkler and feels very sturdy from the moment you pick it up. Its metal spike to anchor it into the ground is going to slice into any type of dirt without bending. The housing is made from high impact plastic (like the old AT&T phones if you are old enough to remember these) and is simply not going to break. It has a number of spray patterns like other sprinklers AND it has a “distance” adjustment so you can more precisely water a specific area (or reach out a long way). Everything is good except it is spendy, but you are getting your moneys worth on this gem. I will be trusting it in a house fire protection system if (or should I say when) we have another wildfire in the area. A definite 5 star product.
