We got the kiddos a play archery set recently, which they love! When I saw these rubber archery arm guards, I had to get them so the kids would have the whole archery experience, complete with arm guards! These are quite small, and definitely made for kids. They have a traditional-looking styled rubber guard that sits flat against the inner forearm and has adjustable straps to hold it in place. The set comes with two – a red one and a black one. The arm guard does in fact protect the arm from the slapping of the bowstring after shooting, so it’s functional as well as cool-looking. The kids feel super special wearing them, like they are superheroes!

First, I want to say that this is described as a "youth" size but specifically it should be labels more like small child size. It is only about 5.5 inches long compared to an average adult sized one that is 8-10 inches long. I find this is best suited for kids under the age of 9.That being said, the rubbery material is more comfortable than some of the other synthetic materials. It moves with you and will stay in place but can get hot and sweaty underneath. It is easy to put on and take off and will do the job.
