These “2 Pack Turntable Stylus Cleaning Brush, Anti-static Carbon-fiber Vinyl Record Stylus Cleaner Brush to Remove Dirt and Dust for Record Needle Stylus” are ok, straightforward to use, but you do need to be careful, you can easily damage your “needle”. I think these cleaning brush can do its job if you are careful, and the price is OK for its purpose. Yet, personally, I hoped that there are better solutions out there.Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

I am new to vinyl collecting now that it has returned. This helps alot with dust removal.

Once upon a time, in the 1980s when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I had quite the setup: two Technics turntables, a cheap Realistic mixer, a Carver receiver and two giant speakers to blast all that music. Sadly, when I moved out of my folks' house, all that gear had to stay home, because my first apartment was just too small for all that stuff. And when my parents downsized 20 years ago, I still didn't really have the space for my setup. So I sold or gave it all away, but kept all my records.I finally got a new turntable a couple years ago, and have slowly started buying all the accessories I need to get into vinyl again: small spray bottles (to fill with alcohol and distilled water, to clean records), long AUX cables, to connect my turntable to my PC to "rip" records I can't find on streaming services, etc.).These little brushes were needed, as we have three cats, and thus, lots of little kitty hair "tumbleweeds". They sometimes get stuck on the needle, and I honestly don't have the motor skills any more to reliably pull them off the needle without possibly damaging it. So I got these instead.Since these come in a small plastic box without directions, I'll give you a tip - you're going to want to gently brush *with* the angle of the needle. For most turntables, that would be from back-to-front. This minimizes damage to the needle. But yes, these are super-soft and remind me of the brushes I had all those years ago, albeit with smaller handles. I like them and would recommend them to anyone.

These are gentle brushes that do a good job dislodging fuzz and other light buildup on your stylus. They come individually wrapped and in their own little plastic case for keeping them clean when they're stored. It's important to always front to back or back to front (according to the direction of travel), and never side to side, because you could inadvertently bend your stylus.Recommended.

I received this for free through the vine program- however that does not influence the honesty of my review. If you value the money that you have invested in your stylus/needle let alone your records, you really need to throw out the minimal investment for specific stylus brushes instead of makeshift / repurposed /nonspecific brushes or cloths or worse- your fingers or your breath.that said- when I ordered these-I was curious how I was going to really review these.first off- I was actually pleased that they didn't come in just a little zip lock style bag like so many similar items on Amazon. they come in a little plastic snap lid case- which is really handy considering how easy it would be to misplace something like this and not be able to find it just when you need it.The brushes themselves work well for what they are supposed to do. The bristles are just stiff enough, but supple enough to get the debris off but not damage the needle and stylus assembly. The bristles seem to be firmly attached to the handle, and I don't foresee them falling out, which could cause issues if you don't notice falling onto your record or stuck in the stylus head.So yeah- I give these 5 stars, based on quality and usefulness, and think they are worth the small investment.

I really like that this comes with two brushes as I have multiple turntables. Second, I appreciate that they included a nice plastic case to protect these from getting dusty when they are sitting around and also helps to prevent misplacing them. The brush fibers appear soft and firm and work very well to remove dust from the cartridge and stylus. The hairs of the brush appear well connected to the handle and do not fall out. Remember to ONLY brush from back to front (towards you) when brushing the stylus. I highly recommend these.

These are quite a bit smaller than they appear to be, but the more concerning part is that the bristles are extremely stiff. Here it is pictured on top of a hotel room key (credit card size) for context. If that’s microfiber, it’s the roughest microfiber I’ve ever encountered and there is NO WAY I would use this on my expensive Clearaudio Virtuoso wood cartridge. Avoid.
