When to replace your brake pads?
Dymoece recommends not to let the brake material of the brake pad become thinner than 0.9 mm, but it is certainly better to replace them sooner. My personal rule is that the pads must not become thinner than a cent piece. You will also know that they are worn out far too thin once the brake pad spring touches the rotor. In this case, you know that you would have had to replace the brake pads some time ago!

How to choose bicycle disc brake pads?
In my opinion, you should use metallic receipts if:
- They are heavy.
- You drive downhill.
- The conditions are wet, muddy etc.

and resin pads or semi-metallic receipts if:
- They are lightweight.
- Driving in dry conditions.
- You like a lot of initial gripping.
- Your driving is less braking loaded, i.e. Dirt Jump / Street, XC etc.
Although I have now recommended the use of brake pads, you need to choose the brake pads according to your driving style. The list listed above should be considered as a recommendation and not used as a strict rule.

Bremsbelag löst sich während der Fahrt vom Trägermedium. Dafür kein Stern. Weitere Beschreibung überflüssig.

I do a lot of steep DH / Enduro in So Cal. Thought I would save a buck on pads. Bad Idea. You get what you pay for. After a few steeps descents in one day the rear pads delaminated - almost ruined my rotor. Luckily I still had good pads on the front and finished without incident. Replaced them with Jagwire's Pro semi-metallic - love 'em.

Installed fine and seem to be as strong as ever during the initial “bed in” process.

Very bad break pads. Too noisy and they don't break well.

These brake pads are amazing. So much better than the stock pads. They grip super well and don’t make much noise so far. They are thicker than another pair I bought, which caused the brake to have a lot of play. With these, the brake engages right away when I pull the level with almost no extra slack.

Honestly far better than I expected. Nice and grabby. I've had many "nicer" pads that didn't do as well as these.
