Camshaft position sensor is used to collect camshaft moving angle signal, input camshaft position signal to ECU, and input it to electronic control unit to determine fuel injection time and ignition time.

Exact replacement 2019 Kia Forte 2.0L. Had engine light code for Cam Position Sensor. Went ahead and replaced both (takes 2 as it is dual OHC). Engine light off and code gone. By the way these are super easy to replace. Took all of 5 min to replace both.
