Anyone with skaters knows how important those sleek, sharp blades are. This is the perfect tool to hone those blades in between sharpening. A couple of swipes down the blade gets the random fragments off the sides allowing for those sharp turns! This is a must have for any skaters bag. Works great for hockey and figure skates.

It is high quality and perfect for any skater or coach. It's always good to maintain your edge between sharpening. Two types will cover any kind of skate steel you have. They have both a stone for edges and a ceramic tip to keep the edge between care. They are not a replacement for a good skate sharpening, but they are great on the spot or during a game.

This combo of both sharpeners is great. I used the flat side to level out any burrs on my blade and the V-shaped side to help improve the blade edges. My skates felt great after sharpening for a one minute with this. Be sure to wet the stone before using. This will not make a dull blade sharp, but a blade that has worn a bit and could use a new sharpening, this tool will get it feeling sharp again for a few more skates.
