2 pack for 21bucks - WORKS JUST FINE - there will be a follow upInexpensive, but gets the job done. There will be a follow up here regarding how they hold up to actual HVAC use. Regarding accuracy, thermocouple construction is generally easy to accomplish reliably and these do indeed show adequate accuracy...

They have a strong spring and good clamping force. I tried them on everything from 1/4" tubing to 1" pipe, and they held well. The contact surface is actually flat, but is made from a thin springy kind of metal which bends sufficiently to get a good connection. These hold well and don't pop off the pipe with movement. I compared their readings to my Thermopen from 65-85 degrees and they were spot on. I'm impressed that right out of the box the two clamps were only 4/10 of a degree away from each other. They seem like a very good deal to me.
