These are nice microphone clips that we are using with our Shure handheld wireless microphones. Because of the design of those microphones and the stand clips that came with them, it has led to the microphone housing cracking when people pull them out of the clips. Our hope is that this will eliminate that stress on the microphones and prevent further damage. These are surprisingly large in person, but they hold the microphones perfectly. The bright orange cardboard stickers are a little obnoxious because they don't stay fully adhered to the curved surface, so we pulled them off, but that's really not a big deal. They come with adapters so that they can screw onto both standard and smaller stand screws.

These days, wireless microphones are more common than ever—and they just keep getting better in quality. But here’s the problem: modern wireless mics are usually thicker than traditional ones. So how are you supposed to fit them into a standard mic clip? Most newer wireless mics come with gel rings that have little bumps. These are designed to stop the mic from rolling off flat surfaces, which helps prevent those unfortunate “bye-bye mic” accidents. Still, that doesn’t solve the fit issue with regular mic holders. That’s where these smart, oversized clips come in. They’re larger, built for today’s wireless mics, and completely solve the problem. Simple solution, big difference. Highly recommended!

Great mic clip, I use this mic clip on my church's mics and it is completely compatible with all of the church's mics. This mic clip holds the mic in place very well and is perfect for use on stage, I'm very happy with it!

My band has several wireless mics, and these work perfectly for the larger mic size, since those mics don't always fit in the standard mic clips when we play at venues which provide mic stands. These clips also work for standard mics (such as Shure SM57 & SM58), so you won't need to swap out clips.I'm removing one star because these clips have bright, orange decals showing the brand name, which makes them look kinda cheesy. Thankfully, the decals are easily removable. The other reason I'm removing a star is because the insert adapters for microphone stands having the smaller screw mounts are plastic and not very good quality. I suppose that is why the 2-pack comes with four of the adapters. The product description says they are metal (which I've found to be the case with other mic clip adapters), but these are plastic. As long as the items I just mentioned aren't a deal-breaker for you, these microphone clips should work with about any microphone and microphone stand you have.

I have several different types of wireless microphones that I use mostly for rehearsals. Several of these microphones did not come with a clip so you have no way to attach the microphone to a stand. So, I was looking for a universal type of microphone clip that I could use with different size microphones. These microphone clips are actually designed with a spring-loaded clamp which can accommodate different diameters of microphone. The clamp itself is lined with foam and holds the microphone securely in place. The only thing that can quickly become an issue is that the part of the clip that screws on to my microphone stand is plastic and it has plastic threads. The microphone stand itself has metal threads. Screwing plastic threads on to metal threads means you have to be very careful. Not aligning the threads correctly can result in the microphone clip not being able to securely attach to a microphone stand. If you overtighten the microphone clip, you can also damage the threads. Once the threads are damaged the clip is useless. You would be better off getting a microphone clip with metal threads.

The springs are very strong and the mic clamp is padded and adequate for most microphones. The build seems solid for this part, however the neck seems undersized and underwhelming compared to the clamp. The neck is all plastic including the nut/adaptor that screws into the neck - the threading is plastic too. There is a converting adaptor for tripods (1/4 mounts) that is metal but again the receivers are plastic. The is a major point of failure for me… any cross-threading and that nut/adapter is done which makes the holder unusable. The T-screw used for securing the angle of the microphone holder is plastic - another point of failure. It will do the job as long as you care for it. Don’t expect to take these on the road while leaving them attached to a mic stand - they either snap or the plastic threads will wear down. These are definitely NOT roadworthy. If you use these in a studio then this pack can be of value. Even then I’m not thrilled about using these to hold very expensive microphones in situations where they may get bumped or handled roughly. Maybe they are best for desk studio setups? But that limits their versatility and value.Lastly, the of the 4 thread adapters provided I got a single 3/8 to 5/8 adapter and three 5/8 to 3/8 adapters. For the pack of 2 mic clips I’d assume you’d get one of each adapter per clip? Oh and the brand stickers are coming off already - I’ll probably just pull them off all together. (Bad QA!) Buy if you must, they’ll do the job but you’ve been warned about their shortcomings.

This holder easily threaded onto my stand. (Remember to remove the thread adapter if you have a standard mic stand!) I like the fact that the tightener for the pivot is a nicely contoured knob instead of the typical screw. This enables you to angle your mic exactly how you like it and then tighten everything down so there's no possiblility of droop. The actual gripper for the mic contains four good-sized springs and takes a good amount of squeezing force to open. Once you overcome the challinge of getting your mic into the holder's jaws, you shouldn't have to worry about it coming out until you're good and ready! All in all I'm pleased with this good looking solidly made mic holder.
