Weak. Won't hold up any books. I had to reinforce them and find a way to keep them from sliding off the shelf under the pressure of the books. Useless.

This is advertised as being good for heavy books. It is holding up 5 notebook size folders with difficulty.

These book ends are made of steel and are sturdy. They look great, well made, they have small rubber pads at the bottom, they are the ideal size for large and small books and the tab at the bottom, which is under the books, is long enough to hold the books. books very safely. When you need to buy more bookends, these will be the first ones you look for.

Excellent book end, has an excellent quality, is very robust as it holds both small and large books and stays in place. It is what I was looking for in this product. Highly recommended.
