Hubby saw this waterproof cable connector set and decided it was perfect for another one of his crazy projects. He used it to connect a low voltage power supply to an outdoor device. He says it was easy to connect the pigtails up to the power supply and the device. The waterproof connector makes it easy to remove either the power supply or device for maintenance without having to remove the other. He's happy.

I used this to add an LED on my bimini top. The main issue I was having is that if I wanted to take down the bimini top I would have to remove this whole wire, disconnect it from the fuse panel, and then re-run the thing each time I wanted to remove the top. This has a easy to connect, water tight, and low profile connection which solved my problem perfectly. The wire is firm and strong enough not to get cut when it's inevitably pinched, but also tangible enough to snake around where it needs to be to stay out of sight. Great product!

This cable is heavy duty. It is almost 10' long (3 meters actually). I don't know the name of the connector, but it does attach securely (one end is male and one is female, so it's basically a 3 meter extension). The wires are 16AWG. Works well and seems well made.

It wasn't readily clear to me from the description or photos, but this cable does actually come with two 20cm (8 inch) pigtail connectors, one male and one female. This is perfect for my application, because I was going to be cutting one cable to create my own pigtails anyway! For my project, I'm installing fuel level senders (essentially a float with variable resistor) into the 6-gallon fuel tanks for my outboard motorboat. Since you have to remove the tanks from the boat to refill them, I had to have a removable connector. Yet, these will sit in the back of the boat where they will be subject to splashing water and even rain, so they needed to be waterproof. This cable should be perfect for that environment, and I look forward to installing them in my boat. From the visual design and action of the plug, it's clear that the multi-ribbed gasket is making a nice seal inside the shell of the mating part. The latch clicks securely once connected, but it's also designed to be removed easily. I'm happy to recommend this waterproof cable set to other buyers looking for a solid, secure, waterproof connection.

This package of 3 two pin waterproof connectors do exactly what they are designed to do. I used them to repair a squirrel chewed solar panel wiring harness. Worked well and the repair restored the operation of the panel. These are not true weatherpak connectors but they do work as well. Here is how I rate items:5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare)4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

When anchored I sometimes haul a bright anchor light into the foretriangle on my sailboat with a halyard. To provide power I installed a marine grade 12V cigarette type socket in the anchor locker, which works quite well. It has a protective cover when not in use however when the light is plugged in the socket is exposed to a particularly damp, grimy environment since the anchor locker tends to get wet and dirty on a regular basis plus when it rains water wants to run along the power cord into the socket, although I try to maintain a drip loop. The bottom line is the 12V socket has become a bit of a mess. So, I was glad to find these waterproof electrical connectors. I’m going to replace the 12V socket with one of the pairs and then use one half of one of the other pairs to plug and protect the power supply line in the anchor locker when not in use. I believe this is going to provide a very good solution. And I’ll have one and a half pairs left to do the same for another installation, to be determined. The connectors are made of hefty plastic which appears to be good quality and durable. A plastic catch locks the connector together securely and a triple seal of pliable rubber, which feels like it could be silicone rubber, engages snuggly with the matching connector body. Silicone rubber is a material I’ve found to be durable and reliable in marine applications over the years. For relative size see the picture included with this review. All indications are these connectors will serve well. I've found no flaws and the connectors seem to be well designed, hence the 5 star rating. After installation I’ll provide updates if needed.

Solid connection with good waterproof design. Wire ends are pre-primed with solder. Will do the job!

I used these to wire up a heated seat with both rider and pillion heating and it was an easy process to wire them up, especially since the came with the tips pre-soldered! This allowed me to use a small butane torch to effectively solder my connections without breaking out the iron. The quick connectors are a life saver with the seat as it makes it so quick to take the seat off and put it back on when it's time to ride again.
