Decent size and they look great. I was worried they would be cheap looking but they look amazing and have a good weight to them. The bottom is flat so they angle forward. Only thing I would change is if one container had the spoon notch on the opposite side. But that is just a small design flaw I can learn to live with.

It took me months to find the right sugar bowl and I love these! I use them as a sugar bowl and cinnamon bowl right by my coffee. For me, the size is great. But if your looking for big sugar bowls these are not for you
