I had trouble deciding whether to give these 3 or 4 stars. I decided to go with 4, but I may well change my mind later.When I have looked at products like this in the past, the bars used spring pressure and rubber feet to stay in place. On this version, the feet are either very hard rubber or slightly soft plastic - but they don't have the traction that I would expect.Each unit is composed of two bars which are length-adjustable by turning one end (unscrewing). Each of the bars adjusts individually, and they are connected together by having two really flimsy pieces of plastic clipped to them. The plastic pieces provide the spacing between the bars.The bars come free of the plastic spacers very easily, so installation is a bit of a wrestling match as you try to hold the unit where you want it, unscrew one of the legs without levering that bar out of the clips, and then unscrewing the other leg while trying to not knock the whole thing down.it just seems much more....fiddly.... than the spring-bar type. Maybe they will be fine since I only have to deal with them when I am moving the camper with food in the fridge, but I wish they were better.

I really like the adjustability. These will work whether you have a smaller RV refrigerator or a residential one like we have. The only place they won't work is if you have a french door style wide body refrigerator.The tension is easily adjustable by turning the extension, and it is quick and easy to install.You get two, for two shelves and once installed, they are stron g enough to hold even heavy items, like gallon jugs of milk or tea.Very happy with these.

I keep seeing these and wondered if they’d help. We were tired of getting to our campsite and opening the fridge for a cold beverage to encounter a landslide of items falling out at us, over the floor, etc. Or worse yet a heavier item know the whole refrigerator door open and all your food scatters all over the floor, ugh! So we got these to put in the fridge and freezer to hold the products inside the door and in place. They adjust to the correct width and stay firmly in place. I do double check them before departures just to be sure I don’t need to tighten them. Easy install just place where you want and twist to size. I’ll be getting more for some of the pantry and cupboards. You don’t have to leave them in place, but they don’t restrict getting items in or out of the fridge for us. Highly recommend, they are a game changer.

These are great and work perfectly. Meaning, they are easy to adjust, the tension is ideal, and they are well made. We've used poorly-made tension rods and they are nothing but frustrating! But, these have worked better than expected in our RV fridge and pantry to hold all those goods in place! I would definitely recommend these!!

As the photo shows, these bars are not just for keeping things in the fridge from falling out. My wife wanted something to keep the stuff in the pantry from taking a nose dive as we roll down the road. These bars easily adjusted to provide a good, tight connection in the pantry. At some point I MIGHT take off the bracket and use single bars so I can cover all the shelves. However, at this price (only $9 at the time of this review), I may bite the bullet and buy a second set. Be advised that there are no instructions with these bars, but it’s NOT rocket science.

I ordered these to make another 'shelf' of sorts in a narrow kitchen cabinet. Upon receipt, they aren't going to work for my purposes, but they will for many. They twist down for shorter length and out for longer. Measure what you want them for because there isn't any spring inside to condense them down.

I don't really need refrigerator bars, but I did have a need for some shorter tension rods in my RV. These were a perfect fit for my hanging closet using two of them without the connector as a shoe shelf, and the other two in the pantry cabinet, again without the connector, to give me a bit of flexible extra shelf space. They are easy to adjust and quite sturdy.
