Missing faceplate and flow control knob.

UPDATE: I now have a faceplate, curtesy of the good Chinese folks at Backnets. Not only that, but they refunded the cost for the shower unit that I never returned to Amazon, so I now have a complete spare unit on hand that I can use for a cartridge or a complete replacement, if and when needed. Now that's Customer Service! I upgraded my rating to 4 stars now, pending final testing of the unit under water pressure.BEWARE! I ordered this and as experienced by others, it arrived without a faceplate. I went thru Amazon chat and they agreed to issue a refund if I returned the item, and ship me a complete new replacement. They assured me that they would make sure that a faceplate was included with the replacement. The replacement arrived after a week delay, and STILL NO FACEPLATE! A new chat, but I was told that they could do nothing except issue a refund. That was not acceptable because I had already constructed a new shower tower made to fit this unit, so I contacted Backnets directly. Much to my surprise, they replied almost immediately, and as soon as they fully understood what had happened, they said that they would ship a Brushed Nickel faceplate. I am showing only two stars because that although the unit appears well constructed, the functioning of the valve will not be known until the faceplate arrives.

Solved an issue where 2 shower heads needed to be controlled independently. Each can be on, or both on at same time, with independent flow adjustment. Set temperature and forget it (both heads receive same temp). Temperature stable when toilet etc., is flushed.Installation is pretty straightforward if you're very handy and patient and have appropriate tools, otherwise have a pro do it. In my case, I used a RotoZip with diamond "drill" cutter to enlarge and shape the hole through the existing tiled wall ...gently and patiently. Make sure the box is mounted so the front is flush with the shower wall finish. Note that I installed blocking to precisely mount the box inside the wall. I was able to open the "other" side of the shower wall in order to do this.The cover plate fits the faucet nicely, retained with O rings, but will not fit well if the box is misaligned. Make sure the O-rings stay in the plate grooves while installing. No plate wall gasket provided, so I sealed the plate against the wall with caulk, using masking tape to control the spread. Worked well.Starting a shower is a simple push on the desired head control, the temp will stabilize at your preset. Turn the head control knob to control volume. Oh yes, install with a 1/2" male threaded connection that has a compression fitting to take the 1/2" copper water pipe. Makes it easy to install with wrenches. If using PEX fittings, seek proper advice. Seems well made, I'm impressed, but we'll see how durable the valves are in the long run.

Works well, I like the push button valves.Regulates fast, is a small bit of an temperature overshoot on turn on but is stabilizes fast.Due to the fast shut off of the push buttons may be wise to have water hammer arrestors.Wouldn't mind any info on parts and cartridge replacements or if there even available.

This is great. The plumber had no problem installing it. The push buttons work well. The whole thing is metal and seems well made. Lucky to find something like this under 200

I love the convenience this unit offers. One push of the button and the temperature is exactly where I like it. I set it up for the shower head above or the spout below, so no more fussing with the spout temperature before diverting it to the shower head. Love it.

Quality materials, simple functionality, cool look:This valve kit is decently heavy and clearly well made - the materials are all well crafted and the knobs turn smoothly and without leaking at all. The simple functionality of the product makes it very easy to use and isn't overengineered or frustrating to adjust. The product's sleek chrome look also looks very nice and fits in well with the current bathroom decor setup. The temp is very quick to adjust and the water flow switches seamlessly.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Missing the face plate, which is advertised (with its dimensions and all) and listed under "packages include". The mixing valve itself is nice quality, solid brass with good functionality, hence 2 stars instead of 1. But useless without the wall plate to cover it. Returned it for a replacement, and the replacement was also still missing the face plate. This process has now delayed my renovation while I search for an alternative product to replace this one.
