This is a great product. Typically, we orient a pig fence inside of a post opening inside of the pen. With this 2-way latch, we get a cleaner install and it still functions well to keep the pigs inside the pen.

This is a good price for a farm gate latch and it works well. These things can get a lot of hard use on my farm and has held up well so far.

We were tired of using chains to hold the gates shut. This latch was relatively easy to install. It works as expected. Nothing is built to last forever anymore but I expect this to last a few years with daily use.

For me, this was an unusual configuration for a gate latch. It's bulky and heavy as heck, but it's very solid. The plates all combined in the making of this latch give a different look. I like the black powder coating and the little latch releases at the top are my favorite part of the design. The best thing is this being a solid option for a metal ag gate. You can install your own gate and have a secure latch, not just ground pins and slide bolts. This is also great because you don't have to weld it. The catch sits on the first horizontal bar of the gate, then you can easily place the correct position if the latch mechanism on your wood post. Good price for this creative latch. I have it on a 4 ft gate and now feel like it can properly lock. It isn't confusing to delivery drivers either, so that's nice!

I started to install this “Lupar Store 2 Way Farm Gate Latch, Heavy-Duty Lockable Fence Latch with Self-Locking Nut, Black Livestock Gate Latch Compatible with Pastures, Stables, Ranches, Horse Corrals, Farms” lock between an existing corral gate and round wooden pole. I was replacing a wrapped and locked chain. I did not have the required clearance for the latch. I ended up removing some of the wooden pole material with a chainsaw blade. Now it fits well, and works as it should. No more chain required. A very strong, easy to install (in the right gap), good looking latch. It was worth the effort to install it.
