Works! Joysticks are accurate and they fixed my controller drift issue. Can't ask for much more than that. Can't speak to the longevity yet but so far seems good quality. If you're not experienced at soldering circuit boards & are considering getting these, here's a few tips: 1. Watch lots of YouTube vids about the procedure. 2. Get good quality flux & some solder wick/braid. 3. To make it easier to pull off the board, (because there are so many pins) suck most of the factory solder up with the solder braid first. Don't have to get all of it just remove the blobs. Then re-solder with a product called CHIP-QUIK(available amazon for cheap). What that does is keep the solder liquefied for about 20 seconds or so. It helps so that you have time to heat all the pins and pull it off the board before they cool down again! 4. Pull it off the board by putting gently under it with small flathead while heating pins. 5. Use solder wick with flux again to clean all the CHIP-QUIK off. 6. Clean the board with alcohol. 7. Solder the new one in!

I was so exited to get this product, but after installing it they played really nice for about 5 minutes. After that the replacement joysticks started to drift alittle bit to the left. And then 10 minutes goes by and they started drifting so bad I could not control my game any more!! This upset me because they are supposed to be a quality product but it turns out that the product is garbage.!! I'm highly disappointed.😡

Mounting pins did not quite line up with original board and when installed the stick now drifts in the opposite direction. Ended up buying a new controller like I should have in the first place.

I've had a collection of PS4 controllers where either the right or left (or both) analog sticks were glitchy, drifty, and frustrating to use. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet and try these. Now I have fully functional controllers again! Instead of buying new ones to replace, these old ones work like new! That being said, it may require a bit of an investment in tools and experience if you don't often solder/desolder stuff. Get some reasonable tools, and some helping hands holding tools, and you'll be alright. It's not a super simple solder job, but anyone with a little experience and patience can do it.One quick tip: when you're looking tor remove the old component, you can use a flat blade screwdriver to mechanically disconnect the x and y potentiometers from the rest of the assembly. This probably damages the pins on those pots, but you're going to throw them out anyways. After that's done, you can remove those components individually, and then remove the remaining thumbstick assembly with roughly half the remaining pins. Divide and conquer!

I did not no this is a ALP analog 3D joystick thumb sticks and these are use it audio products . This analog 3D joystick thumb sticks work differently than the original analog 3D joystick thumb sticks . But, it does the job for my playstation 4 wireless controller . Easy install if you did not damage the motherboard while removing the drift problem analog 3D joystick thumb sticks .

Bought it to replace the components in the PS4 controller. Not the best quality but works well.

After looking online for possible reasons for my left stick not responding to forward input, I took apart my controller and saw that the contact was worn out/damaged. I ordered these hoping I wouldn't have to solder the whole part in. Fortunately, I didn't; all I had to do was replace the old worn-out ones with the contacts from the new part. Also of note, some reviews say that the down click on these don't work/don't exist. That was not the case with the parts I received. Like I said, I didn't have to replace the whole analog stick, but when I tested it out, the down press did function. Perhaps they mean it doesn't respond? Anyway, I highly recommend the $5 for these instead of just buying a whole new controller. The swap-out took me less than 20 minutes total. I am saving the other parts for replacements when my other controllers misbehave.

I bought this set of rockers in February of 2018 to replace one that had developed a "stickyness" in the up position on a friends controller (probably due to some intense sprinting action in Call of Duty). Still works great. It's best to use a solder sucker with this guy, there are three pins per axis to deal with. It's definitely doable without one but they're inexpensive and will save a great deal of hassle.

Here is what you need to know, assuming you have basic soldering skills. DO NOT try to desolder each solder point to remove the thumbstick component. Use a pair of needlenose pliers to crush the old thumstick into small enough pieces to remove it, leaving the solder points and just the leads left to remove. It helps to bend the shrouding of the thumbstick remaining in the PCB to weaken the metal enough to where they just snap off easily. After you have the old thumbstick component removed, heat each solder point individually, using desoldering wick and solder sucker to remove the old solder and remaining pins (this is the toughest and most time consuming part, but don't get discouraged, take your time). A metal pick also helps to clear the holes in the PCB. Soldering your new assembly in is a breeze, comparatively. Just remember to use flux and keep your iron's tip well tinned. After your new thumbsticks are installed, reassemble and test your controller before reinstalling screws. Hope this helps. Both of my controllers are now 100%.
