I got these to make a cascading voltage light display with LEDs. Got around to working on them today and finished up a row of 10, tested them using my adjustable bench power supply. Half of the diodes conducted voltage regardless of the voltage supplied as if they were simply a piece of wire, no threshold at all. Others acted like they were open shorted and refused to conduct irrespective of voltage. And since it has been several months since I purchased them before I got around to using them, I doubt I can get a refund. Now I must tear down the entire perfboard and start over. There goes $8 I won't get back. Buyer beware!!!
