I was fooled by the white strip on the back of the hat (see first picture). The Velcro on the bow wouldn’t attach to the hat, and with the white strip on the black hat, I couldn’t wear the hat. I was pretty upset and was about to leave a poor review. Then my husband walked over and pulled off the white strip of felt that was covering the Velcro on the hat (see second picture). At that point I realized that the felt was to keep the Velcro from snagging the hat. I felt pretty stupid. I’m glad my husband figured it out because it’s a beautiful hat (see third picture).

This hat fit very well and also matched my dress perfectly. I love how the strap helped keep my hat on when it was windy. Good value for the price.

This is a great costume-like hat. It came smashed in the box with the brim bent. But I was able to reshape it to look perfect! I loved the fact that it had an elastic band to help secure the hat! Definitely a keeper.

I liked how well this hat is made and the ability to adjust the wire rim to wear the hat in a way that suits your personality. I wish it didn’t have a seam on the opposite side of the decorative part. I like the decorative part on the side and wish if the hat needs a seam, it could be in the back, so it didn’t show so much in the front. The attraction of the hat is sides and front. That’s what people notice. I bought this hat to wear at my grandsons’s wedding. I did get several compliments on how classy it looked. The hat wasn’t wrinkled, which was a bonus. I bought a styrofoam wig head and it’s a great way to store the hat. I found it reasonably priced and I’ll wear it again to a dress up event.
