My dell laptop's charger got too old and this has been a good replacement. i have been using it without any issues for over a month now.

It's hard enough for me to get out of the house with everything I need, much less worrying about where my laptop is, AND where my power cord is (they're often not together). I decided to get this backup power cord for my Dell XPS that I can keep in the car (we have an AC power outlet in our car) so I never need to worry about trying to find the OEM cord last minute.The cord fits perfectly with my laptop (USB-C connection) and works great. I like that the connection between the battery brick and my laptop is hidden in a little channel, so there's less likelihood of having the internal wiring twist and fray.

This charger worked fine at first, no problems with my Dell computer not recognizing it. But after 5 months of everyday use, it no longer works. The indicator light is on when plugged in, but my laptop suddenly stopped charging. No amount of unplugging and reconnecting to my laptop power port was successful. Will now buy something else.

The charger works just fine. It charges my laptop as well as the original one does. The charger gets hot though, to the point where it’s uncomfortable to touch. I’ll keep this around as a spare in the case it’s ever needed but I don’t know that I would want to use it regularly or leave it plugged in somewhere unsupervised.

My laptop is six years old and still works great, however, the charging cords just don’t last. I got this one specifically because it’s the USB C type. I think the original port for the manufacturer’s power cord doesn’t fit as tightly as it should (it’s not a USB C but is a small round hole) and sometimes stops charging. This charger is a great alternative, fits tightly in the port, and the “brick” doesn’t get hot like my other one. I’d buy this again.

My students keep leaving their chargers at home. I put this in the back of the room and it has saved my life (and theirs LOL)Great charger and is holding up really well. I wish I had 20 more.
